In the past, dental restorations required several visits to the dentist in order to evaluate the situation, send requirements to a dental technician, prepare the teeth, and finally place the restorations after receiving them from the lab. However, modern advances in dental technology have changed the way Dallas and Fort Worth area dentists operate. Thanks to CEREC® 3-D, porcelain veneers, crowns, inlays, and onlays can be completed from start to finish during a single appointment to Granbury Dental Center.
CEREC® 3-D is a complete system of cosmetic restoration technology, using the latest methods in precision restorative dental medicine. With the help of advanced computing, 3-D modeling, and CAD/CAM, CEREC® 3-D puts a full-service dental restoration lab into the hands of Drs. Baird, Buske, and Knight.
The first step is the CEREC® 3-D’s digital camera, which records impressions of your teeth, replacing the need for dental molds. Next, Drs. Baird, Buske, and Knight will use CEREC® 3-D’s advanced software to create a customized restoration for each Dallas and Fort Worth area patient. Finally, the CEREC® 3-D milling machine will cut and color your new restoration to fit perfectly and match your natural teeth. The whole process takes around 30 minutes, leaving Drs. Baird, Buske, and Knight plenty of time to fit your restoration and give you a smile that you can’t help but show off.
