Porcelain veneers are something that has really changed dentistry. And it's really been going on for a long time, about 20 years. But there's several different types. You hear a lot about no-prep veneers or Lumineers and a lot of people out there have heard about those. And that's just very minimal preparation or no preparation where we cover the teeth. And I've actually done two of my girls, two of my daughters with that. And it's very, very nice.
There's other patients who have stain or discoloration. Those patients we really need to probably take away a little bit more tooth structure. And I've actually had veneers. And mine are that type with a little bit more reduction. Different types of porcelain now that are available—Empress is one of the most popular as far as veneer materials that are out there. But with all ceramic technology, the ability to make a lifelike smile is, you know, it's pretty cool the way we're able to do that now.
