Unfortunately some patients come in and they've had years of neglect or years of abuse or they've just got really—have had an accident. And those patients we end up starting out with making them dentures. And one of the neat things about dentures is that, you know, we use a lab in Kansas City that I believe is the best lab in the world. I mean, they are incredible. Not only are they somebody I've been working with for 21 years, but they've designed their own aesthetic type porcelains and aesthetic type teeth so that when a denture is made, it looks like real teeth.

Now just because someone wears a denture or needs a denture doesn't mean they have to have that denture forever. And, again, that's where implants can come into play. We can actually put in dental implants, take that denture that looks beautiful and get rid of the roof of the mouth, all of the palate, all of the stuff that's the pink plastic, and really change them back to where they have teeth again. And that's, you know, we couldn't do that 20 years ago. Today, you know, just because someone has to wear dentures doesn't mean they have to wear dentures forever.
