There are a lot of people come into our practice and they have what I call hooked partials. They have little wires and you'll see somebody maybe smile that has that, you know, that little wire that's showing. Well, I haven't done one of those partials in 15 years. We quit doing those years ago because what I tell people is wherever the hook is, that's the next tooth to go because it just kind of torques those teeth out.

So today, we're able to either through using dental implants or actually doing some crown and bridge work, we can place special attachments so that when that partial denture snaps in place, there's no wires. And, again, it looks just like your natural teeth. You may not want implants, but this is a great option for those patients who don't want the implants, but still don't want to have the wires and don't want to have those teeth cranked out later on. So it's a great option.
